Emerging Sports

The Emerging Sports department of 1. FC Kaiserslautern e.V. includes modern and innovative activities such as Headis and Walking Football. Headis combines table tennis and heading a ball across a table tennis net, demanding quick reactions and skill. Walking Football is an adapted form of traditional football.

Players walk rather than run across the pitch, reducing the risk of injury while retaining the enjoyment of football. The department shows that FCK offers exciting new activities alongside traditional sports and gives members a diverse range of ways to get active.
